Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance Grants

• Grants will be provided on a first-come first-served basis based on completed file.
• All applicants for Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance must meet income guidelines that do not exceed a maximum of 200% above the federal poverty guidelines. 
• Down payment/closing cost assistance grants will be a maximum of 3% of the down payment and up to 100% of the qualifying closing costs, but may not exceed $5,000 per customer.
• All grants must be approved by the Loan/Grant Review Committee.
• Grants require no pay back and have no deed restrictions attached to them.

These grant products are only offered in NODA's target market area, when funding is available. All grants must follow NODA guidelines or the guidelines of money currently available.
